God of Modern Language

Taurean, God of Modern Language, was introduced through the book titled, “Misguided: Black Mythology”. The book gives a short story of this God and how he is depicted amongst morals. Taurean is seen as a flashy God to his predecessors and praised by men. He is strong, yet, gentle and can be unaware of his own input into a situation. He was noted as the first God to wear jewelry and tattoos made by man. In the short story, titled, “Stuck”, Taurean is expressed as a God who cares for his people and yet can also be neglectful of himself in the process.

Taurean was recently featured in a group exhibition by ABC Stone in collaboration with New York Academy of Art.
